Leadership Programs
Especially in today’s world, NGO managers and professionals must have finely-tuned skills to run their organizations effectively.
To deliver these skills, our Leadership Programs were developed on the basis of extensive research and were made possible through funding from the Andrew Mellon Foundation. Over the past ten years, both courses have been continuously tested in the field and regularly updated to meet the changing requirements of the world that NGOs operate in. They are strongly endorsed by the agencies that have used them.
Contemporary Management Practices (CMP) covers basics from management style through developing staff. Advanced Management Practices (AMP), building on CMP, covers higher-level skills such as managing change and seeking new opportunities.
Both have been conducted scores of times, on every continent, and they have been custom-tailored for a variety of NGO organizations, large and small. Each is an intensive, weeklong program, typically conducted in retreat-like settings.
